    you are a beast! thank you!
    Keep em coming.

    Its good there is at-least this option to monetise on tizen now.

    There is no in-app or video ad / pop up support by game salad.
    So this is very helpful

    @adriangomez thank you very much for this valuable info!

    Remember they are giving away 10K per month for every app in the top 100. Let us make some money. And thank you for the kind words.

    @adriangomez

    y i wondered if its possible to make payed advertising on tizen
    investment < 10000 to reach to top 100
    maybe with the imobi advertiser

    But have to be sure to make it back, gamble stuff

  • adriangomezadriangomez Member, PRO Posts: 440

    @bigdave that is exactly what I am going to try. I know I can reach top 250 with $300 dollars on Facebook for iOS in Mexico. I have never tried India and Inmobi, but remember if you have advertisement you won't lose all your investment.

    true it doesnt matter which country right?

  • adriangomezadriangomez Member, PRO Posts: 440

    Yes. You are correct.

  • BigDaveBigDave Member Posts: 2,239

    For Platform options in Inmobi there is iOS and Android.

    SO I guess we select android?

  • BigDaveBigDave Member Posts: 2,239

    EDIT: This is the process I'm following which is taken from the Tizen website:

    **Getting Started with InMobi Tizen Ads
    To start off, please follow the below steps to create account and register your app with Inmobi.

    Step 1 - Send an email to tizen.onboarding@inmobi.com

    Step 2 - You will receive a document stating the terms and conditions for app monetization with InMobi along with a list of details required for account creation and site id approval

    Step 3 - Fill in the required details (only to be TYPED, not handwritten) and share a signed copy with InMobi. A scanned copy should be shared on the above mentioned email id and a hard copy should be mailed to the below mentioned address

    Legal Team, INMOBI, 7th Floor, Cessna Business Park,
    Kadubishanahalli, Sarjapur - Outer Ring Road,
    BANGALORE, KARNATAKA 560103
    India

    Step 4 - Once the details are approved, the InMobi team will get back to you within 2 working days with account details and site id.

    Step 5 - Proceed with technical integration as mentioned in the sections below**

    @DigiChain

    Oh wow exclusive path. Thanks buddy. Waiting for the mail now.

  • adriangomezadriangomez Member, PRO Posts: 440

    Yes exclusive path. You do not need to send it in through the mail though. I signed it with preview on a Mac and returned it. Entire process took about 3 days. Now I get weekly report on impressions.

    Contract very standard. Inmobi gets 30 % you can't use any other provider for those apps for 1 year.

    Just to confirm, you cannot do IAP tizen?

  • adriangomezadriangomez Member, PRO Posts: 440

    Marmalade doesn't currently support IAP for Tizen.

    Edit:

    fmakawa: Although not technically supported, I have an idea that might work. No promises, but next weekend I might have time to give it a try.

    Got my Sheet to fill out and send back now

    @adriangomez

    "Contract very standard. Inmobi gets 30 % you can't use any other provider for those apps for 1 year."

    Btw I did not find that in the contract could you tell me the number your referring to?

    And if so:
    For that specific tizen version I hope I can still have chartboost and admob on my android and iOS versions right?

    Also a pointless contract point as there is anyways no other advertising services available for tizen right now

  • DigiChainDigiChain Member, PRO Posts: 1,288

    @BigDave

    "For that specific tizen version I hope I can still have chartboost and admob on my android and iOS versions right?"

    From these lines in the contract my reading of it is that they are the exclusive advert provider to our Tizen apps only:

    The Publisher Network shall mean the Mobile site, Tizen applications.

    InMobi will be an exclusive third party provider of Advertisements on the Publisher Network during the Term and validly of this Agreement.

    @adriangomez
    I've been attempting to watch the video for a few days now - but for some reason it just won't stream on Youtube any higher quality than 240p which makes it impossible to see exactly what you are doing!

    If you still have the orig file is there any chance of uploading it to a file share site so we could get it that way?

    EDIT:
    Just tried watching it through the Chrome browser and seems to working fine now!

    Has anyone been able to build and run a tizen application with the latest Tizen Studio?
    I've tried 2 projects, built and signed them in Tizen Studio, but neither will run in the emulator or as a web application.

    I've noticed that when importing the Widget generated from gamesalad it is showing as a Tizen v2.2 application but Tizen Studio only builds v2.3 upwards applications.
    When signing the project there's also a warning "project is a v2.2 based application and may not work with v2.3..." etc.

    @BigDave have you been successful?

    @adriangomez

    for the final build should we switch test to false? Or will it switch automatic after xx impressions?
    test: true,

    EDIT: I set it to false and rate to 30 now

  • BigDaveBigDave Member Posts: 2,239

    @DigiChain

    i am now trying with the new game salad version

  • BigDaveBigDave Member Posts: 2,239

    ok lets see

  • DigiChainDigiChain Member, PRO Posts: 1,288

    @BigDave
    Have you managed to sign a working build of your game? - by this I mean, once you built your game can you run it from the workspaces folder on your computer by double clicking the index.html file?

    My builds still hang on the loading wheel. :/

  • BigDaveBigDave Member Posts: 2,239

    @DigiChain
    same here.
    but i am also not sure if the html version = wgt native build

    so I don't worry.
    I will cry and scream when they reject it.
    But until then I sit in my bubble saying to myself everything is alright.

  • DigiChainDigiChain Member, PRO Posts: 1,288

    @BigDave
    Ok, please let me know how it goes.

    What slightly worries me is that I published quite a few apps to Tizen when Gamesalad first started supporting it (back in 2013). I still have those old builds and when I double click the index.html of those games they run as they should do.

  • adriangomezadriangomez Member, PRO Posts: 440

    Sorry I have been away for a while my machine died, but I got a new drive and I am back in action
    1. Although the web emulator is not able to run the apps the actual devices do. I have not only been able to run it on my own device but you can use the devices here to test your app and they do run: http://developer.samsung.com/remotetestlab/rtlDeviceList.action?os=103
    2. Yes @bigdave switch it to test:false.
    3. Yes @bigdave only for Tizen and before my machine died I was going to show what other provider is available. Smaato works great on the Gamesalad build.
    4. @DigiChain when you import the project make sure you select the version. It defaults to 2.3 but you can select 2.4 without a problem I can see.
