The Templates on The Market Place Thread has been deleted?

I wasn't here last week.
What happened to this thread. It appears to have been deleted. Was it ever resolved, did GS step in with the outstanding balance due to developers?

    Yes, the outstanding invoices were paid (as far as I know, mine and several others were). And things are back to normal at GSHelper with payments being made automatically, I've received several so I know it's working.

    It's not as Rosy as you think - I went on to the site last week to purchase something, based on the description of the product(s) and ended up getting screwed - both by the App seller as well as the site as well..

    Long Story Short - I wanted to evaluate some of the apps that Jason Nestor ( @jaylee) developed, particularly the business-related app (Pizza App - http://gshelper.com/product/pizza-app-non-game-marketing-app-template/).

    I poked around and found that the developer had a bundle deal that claimed to include ALL of his apps posted on the GSHelper site. (http://gshelper.com/product/jason-nester-all-templates-2016-pack/).

    The first line of the product description is "This is a pack that includes all templates currently on GS helper as well as any and all templates that are released through Dec 2016 on GS Helper as well."

    So I go ahead and purchase the bundle and when I receive the confirmation email from the GSHelper site with the download links, the specific app I was looking for and a few others was not included.

    So like any right-minded consumer, I reach out to @uptimistik and inform him of the issue. I let him know that the advertising is inaccurate and I request that he rectify the situation by either getting me all of the developers' app templates as advertised or to refund my money.

    The response I got was that I needed to reach out to the app seller directly and that he would sort it out personally.. I was even told how to do it through a direct link on the GSHelper site.

    A week later and absolutely no response from the App seller and GSHelper claiming no responsibility nor willingness to rectify or refund my money, I'm left wondering why I even bothered..

    So word to the wise, friends.. Caveat Emptor..

    Apparently GSHelper screws both Sellers AND Buyers..

    @uptimistik - I did reach out to Jason and have not heard a peep. I also sent you an email on Monday and have not heard back either short of now..

    I'm sorry if this is bad PR for you but it's pretty shady business to have products being displayed in YOUR store misrepresenting what's included.. If you want to reach out to Jason Nester, feel free..

    edit - 3rd email out to you @uptimistik requesting assistance (or at least to pull the bundle listing from the store to prevent other buyers from being deceived..)

    @uptiistik @KnightStar I havent recieved emails from either of you. Please let me know your email @KnightStar and also what templates you think are missing. I have updated the product list several times over the last few weeks, so logging in and seeing what is available to you might be your best bet!

    But please let me know what ones you believe are missing as @uptimistik has put a paypal hold on my account and I never recieved an email about this.

    @KnightStar @uptimistik ...and this is no way reflective of GSHelper in any way. They haven't screwed over sellers nor buyers. My template pack for example has over 50 templates in it currently and it only costs 35 dollars. I wasn't aware that certain ones were missing from the download list, but you were in no way screwed over. I

    am sorry that this happened to you. This is actually the first i have heard about it.

    @KnightStar @uptimistik I have added the Pizza App to the download list on GShelper, just go in and download it! Also i dont think any others are missing, but if they are let me know which ones.

    @KnightStar what method were you using to get ahold of me?

    @PixelNautGames - Heyas - I tried reaching you through the Purchase Inquiry button on the sale page of GSHelper.com, which was recommended via @uptimistik .. The button, link, or email addy may be broken / incorrect if you are not receiving messages..

    That said, I'll log in when I get a chance and see if I can grab the files..

    @KnightStar well I haven't received one from you. @uptimistik has had my PayPal on hold now for two days without ever contacting me by email. I can though If he had the situation would have been resolved. He's holding 75 dollars making my PayPal account negative. Even though the product in question was only $35.

    The situation is resolved and @uptimistik still hasn't released my account. Even the PayPal dispute he put on me says he attempted to contact me via email. Which he never did. So it's great. Thanks @uptimistik. Great job!

    You even have access to the files on the site so if it was such an issue you could have sent him a link to the file. No one contacted me and then you just file a dispute against me even though you could hav resolved it. @uptimistik release my account now

    The payment I received from GSHelper November 18th for past money owed now has been pulled back (pending) putting me in the negative. I sent @uptimistik an email, not sure what the issue is.

    Edit:The email that I have always contacted Jonathan through no longer works. (Email bounced back)

    I noticed this, sent an email but it bounced back. Just assumed people wanted refunds. Maybe thats not the case.

    Looks like we all have had our payments overturned, PayPal have snatched it back while they {quote} "investigate the payment". Those who were made in the red by this will also have to pay PayPal back the money before using their own PayPal account as they will be left in negative balance from this.

    It looks like Paypal are being difficult to @uptimistik again. They can be very funny with people in troubled countries. Pretty frustrating that it's put my Paypal account hundreds of pounds in the red, but I guess all we can do is wait and see what Paypal decide to do.

    Surely its time that GameSalad just put this in control of someone who has internet and an account that will not always be in dispute from Paypal. Seriously this mess is your official marketplace!

    My experience with PayPal has been that if nothing is physically shipped I lose and the money is taken. I can't remember PayPal ever siding with me regarding virtual goods, even with tons of proof.

    my guess is that all the money will be returned to GSHelper and we will have to figure out a new way to get paid.
