How to fix actor layering?

This is my headache:

The two character has no gravity so they can roam around in the screen anywhere they wish to go.
the problem is when the other zombie actor is in front of the alien character i get this issue as you can see on the image below,

Anyone care to help on how am I going to pull this off?

    I've done this with several templates..Here's one http://gshelper.com/product/beat-em-up-2/

    You need 2 identical actors that are on different layers.

    Thanks for the help. I think I have an idea. If my idea wont work i guess I need to do something about it.
