There's quite a cool little trick I just discovered with GameSalad and MediaHuman Audio Converter.
MediaHuman Audio Converter is a great little app for converting between different audio formats, and gives you a whole load of options not available with GameSalad's built in automatic conversation method - it's free for both Mac and PC.

I accidentally dragged a GS file onto MediaHuman (rather than an audio file), and was surprised to see it scans the GS file and shows you all the audio files it contains, as well as their name, format, codec, sampling rate, bit rate and so on.
Could be pretty useful when it comes to cleaning up / organising audio files.
There is no other easy way that I'm aware of for quickly finding out things like an OGG audio file's bit rate.

This app just saved me tons of time and a big headache working in a project with hundreds of sound files that were in stereo but I needed converted to mono. I converted all the files, and added them back into the project, overwriting the old ones. Nothing seemed to change, though, so I was able to open the project in this app and see that when importing the mono WAV files into GameSalad, it had converted them all to stereo! Luckily importing mono OGG files worked fine, as GameSalad doesn't do any conversion of OGG files when they're imported!
