Issues with GameAnalytics

    I'm having some trouble getting GameAnalytics to work. Not sure if I've set it up wrong on their end, or if I'm doing something wrong in publishing, or if I'm just sending an invalid Tweet Sheet.

    Does Progress:|:Fail need Progress:|:Start to have been triggered first?

    I have this:

    "Progress:|:Fail:Campaign:Level".. game.Current Level

    Valid?

    Hey, I split this off to it's own thing. Based on what you have there, it should work fine. I'm not sure if Start needs to be triggered first, that would be a question for GameAnalytics, but I'll check my implementation notes to see if that came up.

    I'm trying a few more things then I'll be back if I'm still stuck :D Just stuck with "Status: Waiting for first event..." on GameAnalytics. I suspect there's something fundamental I've misunderstood or missed.

    So the thing I saw in testing was that GameAnalytics took quite a while to actually register events in the main system and I had to look at the realtime input for testing. (I think they do nightly/periodic aggregation for things like session progress).

    So look for the options to view events in real time.

    Nothing showing up in real time events either, unfortunately. Still "Status: Waiting for first event..." and zero data anywhere. I tried putting a "Start" in rather than just triggering "Fail" and no dice.

    Is there a verified working test project file I can use to try to establish if the problem is with my implementation, my setup on GameAnalytics, or somewhere else?

    I've failed to get it to work on Android now too. I'm clearly doing something very wrong or there's something wrong on the GS side. I have no clue which.

    We found the issue here. Basically we had not updated publishing to actually enable the analytics services in publishing, even though the code was there.

    We've pushed fixes for that. I've verified on Android, but I need to double check iOS.
