RC 2025-07-30 Android SDK and Target Updated to 35
To get these benefits use "Build RC". It doesn't matter which version of GameSalad Creator you publish with as long as it's a version 1.25.x. Previous RC has been promoted to Release version.
2025-05-01 Promoted to General Build, so every here is new.
Android Compile SDK 35, TargetSDK 35

Ad networks in italics are new, but we'll need to update publishing to allow you to use them.
IMPORTANT NOTE
For IronSource you will need to include the ad placement ids in your service config. You can get the IDs here:
And don't use our IDs. First I don't think they work if the app package id doesn't mach. Second, go ahead and use them if you want us to get the money!
You will need to place them here:

Hi so we can publish to android now? Sorry is so long i need to catch up, i dont even understand whats rc , ironsource, iam currently paying for the lowest membership, just waiting so i can publish to android to upgrade membership.
So RC means "Release Candidate". It's the latest code and is mostly tested, but we're still double checking things. It's basically "beta".
IronSource is an ad network (and ad network mediator). So if you're not using Ad, then you can try using Build RC to release your game. Build RC will build an AAB file with Android Target SDK 35, Build SDK 35, and now min SDK 23 (because the build tools require that).
I still need to do another update to allow new ad networks and remove the ones that are no longer valid, but for now you should at least be able to publish and use the most common networks.
Hi @adent42 I noticed the following warning in the Google Play Console:
“Update to a newer version of the Google Play Billing Library to prevent your updates from being rejected.” do something no later than August 31st
Could you confirm if the update also resolves this issue?
Thank you!
@adent42 I updated one of my apps, and by doing so, the API 35 message was removed. However, the message saying "The app must use version 7.0.0 or later of the Google Play Billing Library" still shows with the date August 30.
I likely can fix that without a new release (just a config tweak), I'm doing a quick build test right now to make sure.
Okay, hit the RC again and you should be good to go!
And on the General release too!
Okay, thanks, I'll try it
