Help building problem!
I need some help. It's been a while since I've done this, so I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong:
1- I click the "Publish" button in the Mac version of Google Play.
2- My project is already set up, so I click "Build RC" as usual.
3- I get the congratulatory message, "App ready!"... I click "Signing process".
4- It downloads the app package... and I get the following error...
and then...
Is this a problem on my end or on Google Play's end?
Thanks!

Google completely changed their requirements to the extent you can't use the GS signer anymore. I think @adent42 plans to bake it all into a new serverside publishing option at some point, but for now you need to do it yourself. There's no in-depth guide that I know of, but it's explained in very brief here:

That said, when I started writing this comment I assumed you meant Android signing as you kept mentioning Google Play, but your screenshots show what looks like an iOS Universal App and it mentions provisioning profiles, so I assume you are actually trying to sign an iOS build. Which also doesn't work using the Sign button currently due to all the changes Apple made. For iOS you need to click "Download" instead of "Sign" and use this app:
Yes @Armelline I’m trying to build for iOS, and now that you mention it I’m remembering that this has been happening for a long time, right? Thanks for the clarification. I’ll see how it goes and let you know.
Hi @adent42 , I have some constructive criticism: I know you have limited resources and you know I’ve supported you for years, but this is still a paid service. Because of that, it’s essential that you provide a clear procedure to complete the build process… and that whatever you define actually works properly.
Having buttons that don’t work, or that, if they do, show messages that make it look like the error is on the user’s side, or duplicate build and buildRC, (buttons that have been there for years and always build RC)…etc., doesn’t help… it’s like the iOS viewer, it only loads in landscape mode, you have to keep touching the screen or it closes, etc… it’s been like that for years…
I think spending a bit of time to minimally polish this is vital. Otherwise, we end up with an engine that fails at the last step, leaving us practically helpless (that’s how I feel right now), especially after having invested so much time in a game.
I think describing the process, a step-by-step guide, doesn’t take that much time — I could write it myself if I knew what the process is! hahaha
And then link it both on the build website and in this same forum.
And let's not forget that this is an engine that aims to allow those with less technical skills to make games; we must try to make the entire building process clear and as simple as possible, that is vital for the target audience.
Anyway, like I said, it’s meant as constructive criticism! :)
Done, and it worked!
From the publish page, click "Build RC" and skip the signing process (it gives an error). Go directly to download and save the IPA file.
In the iOS App Signer app, complete the steps as shown in the image and then click the "Start" button.
This generates a new signed IPA file, which is the one we need to upload.
To upload, use the "Transporter" app (downloaded from the Apple Store), select the signed IPA file, and first "Verify" (the option under the "..." button). If it's OK, click "Deliver."
In a year, when I come back to see if I've finished my game, I'll look for this post! hahaha
