unlockables and highscores

what would be a way to make unlockables in a game for example im doing a game that involves a ball what would be a way that if you get a certain score a new type of ball is unlocked and in a specific scene you can select which ball you wish to use.

also how would i make a highscore list that keeps local highscores (and could i use this to make the game auto start on the latest lv)

    i cant few demos since this my sisters mac and to install the web plugin i need her password so i need something written

    I believe that the template that stormystudio posted awhile back had a level select mechanism to it. You will need to download the file and rename the file extension to .zip first. Then you should be able to open it directly in GS.

    You should ask your sister to create a separate account for you so you don't have to pester her to install software for you.

    rattlehead there is nothing to download this seems like the thing i need to take a look at to complete my game

    I just downloaded it about 30 seconds ago with no problem. In the link I posted above, go to the first post where stormstudios posts the link. There will then be a Download Project button where you can grab the file.

    alright ive downloaded the file but it doesnt open in gs it opens as mac chess n then crashes

    change the extension from .game to .zip

    Then double click it.
