How can I make it so they have to click the object

I have small icons with large transparent backgrounds how can I make it so they only go to the next scene if they choose the visible object?

    Create invisible actors and put the touch rules in them. Then place these invisible actors so they overlap with the visible buttons.

    Or you could use gimp or photoshop to crop out the transparent part and just have the touch rules in the actor. Is there a purpose to the large transparent area?
