Total Newbie Question! - if the + and dragging does nothing whats wrong?

Hi Everyone,

Just stumbled on game salad and amazingly excited to start creating, so moments ago I installed it and opened it, watched and read the stuff but I want to add a graphic actor...

Everytime I press the + button it just comes up with a blank square 'Actor 1' and does not let me choose a file.

Then I open finder and drag files across; png's, jpg, gifs but nothing appears...

Am I being a complete idiot... I just can't add any images....

Help is greatly appreciated....

    the plus button is working as designed, it creates a blank actor. To add images, you first need to add them to the images section below that + sign. click on images and drag them from the finder into that section. From there you can drag the images onto the actor to have it automatically resize the actor to fit the image.
