how to make bounce very little

Hi guys!
I'm having problems making the decapitated head of the bear bounce very little... no matter how much I tweak the physics parameters it allays bounce a lot, actually I didn't saw much of a difference. Ideally it would bounce very little once or twice...
Btw, do I need to change the parameters on both the bouncing object and also on the colliding object?
