GS Viewer Distribution Xcode App

Hi

So I downloaded the Viewer Distribution app, the Xcode project, but it seems like you don't really need it? Or have I missed something?

What exactly is it for? Can't I just take the Xcode project from my game and directly upload that to my device? Or do I have to use the viewer? Thanks.

    the viewer lets u preview your game on ur phone without haveing to convert it to xcode. straight from gamesalad. its was quicker then converting it to xcode just to test it while your still building it

    Ahh, I see. Ok thanks. Thats great I know that now, haha, testing will be far faster.

    I think you need to buy the Express or Pro version of Gamesalad to get the viewer app download.

    yes you do, you need a membership to get the viewer
