my projects no longer run using GSviewer 0.8.9

So I started a new project.... and obviously wanted to test it on my devices. I realised I wasnt up to date with the latest version of the viewer, so grabbed 0.8.9 and installed it on my devices (both running os4.1).

When I tried to run the new project on the viewer, it compiles it, sends it across, loads it etc...but then just completely freezes when the project appears on the device screen (so Im seeing the first scene graphics, but frozen and with no framerate count). I tried it a few times...each time the same. So I tried various other projects that I have, that I know for certain were running fine on previous versions of the viewer, and every one locks up the same.

Is there an issue with the 0.8.9 version of the viewer? Anyone got any suggestions?

My Xcode SDK is 3.2.4

Does your GS version match your GS viewer version?

Like I said...I tried 4-5 other projects that previously all worked fine... theyre locking up at exactly the same point now.

So Im pretty sure its not just an issue with the new project.

They might be doing changes in the backend too

Try building one of the sample projects

    I got it working.....

I went to try re-installing the viewer again.... and noticed I had a 0.8.9 and a 1.8.9 version of the viewer folder in my downloads....

I'd used the 1.8.9 by default without properly checking, as it was the latest one I'd downloaded.... but obviously that meant it wasnt tying up to my 0.8.9 version of the software, as Arton mentioned. So made sure to use the 0.8.9 one this time.

    So all working again now.....
