    Better than my 15 in 3 days. 0 Yesterday :-( Holidays are the worst times for releasing apps.

    it depends on your goals, if you want to make your investment back, you're on your way very quickly, if you want to make it a full time jobs, you're not there yet :)

    Well I'm not disappointed at all I know I released in a bad time but what I was trying to ask is that if pretty much every body got the same experience with their first release...
    Also it's pretty bad trying to get reviews any tougths?

    Hey guys, several of you have pointed out that the holidays are a bad time to release new apps. While I completely agree, what do you all think would be a good time for me to release my new app?

    Ya that sounds good, hopefully by then all the holiday apps will have dropped off and the Mac App Store's launch on January 6th will have died down a little.

    I wish I had 60 downloads. Galactic towers released night of the 16 and as of sunday night it had 20 downloads and half those were promos.

    Day2: 13
    Day3: 11
    Day4: 6
    Day5: 3
    Day6: ???

    There's a pattern here that's not looking good :) and RW took us 3 months so your not alone with rubbish sales m8.

    I just bought Running Wild and wow, its a great game. I am really liking it.

    Yeah the holidays seem like the hardest time because all the "big time" players (EA sega etc) are all having sales. My first game. Sideways pinball is now at 6 days and sales are around 30 so far. It's rough and marketing is extremely hard.

    It's great amount! But I'm just wondering how much your app's titles helped? Preying on the success of a very famous television series had to help.

    I'm seeing the exact pattern with Gravonaut, sales are cut in half every day, similar numbers for me as well.

    Is the time of yer, you may consider pulling the game, and releasing it under a different name in janurary, like gravonaut!

    There is just too much competition right now

    (taint family either... they are all bumming money from me for the Holidays...)

    I haven't even begun to promote it... didn't decide to upload to the 21st... and everybody is so busy...

    If I ever find out who is marketing this for me...I will sure let you guys know...and see if they will do the same for you!
