Hello New the GS Layout Question

Hello IM brand new to GS been using it about a month... Have an issue i cant fix.. I have my actor that can go into these tents they are 2 images one from outside and a cutaway after he goes inside that changes image on collision works Nice... problem is that when actor goes inside he is under the tent or behind it... when i try to send actor layout to front or tent to back nothing happens actor is still behind other tent actor. I would just like to have the Player Actor ontop front or tent actor why is layout bring to front or back not working for me anyone?

    rearrange them in the layers or even put your player in a different layer that is on top of the layer the tent is in

    Okay Thanks so much you arrange the layers just as you would in photoshop under scene tag i was just select actor in scene and trying to send it back
