I was looking yesterday at upgrading my iphone 3g to the 4.3 beta but the oldest device I see a download for is 3gs. Is that a sign they wont be supporting 3g devices anymore? Or have past beta releases been the same only for the new devices.

Well after further googling it appears the general consensus is Apple is dropping support for 3g iphones and 2g ipod touches. This is prob a good thing for developers so we can stop burning precious time finding ways around 2nd gen device performance issues.

    I would be weary. Once iPhone 5 comes out, your 3gs will be the 3g in terms of life. (3G, 3GS, iP4) ; (3GS, iP4, iP5)

this is actually good news, the 3G has been really holding back some games potential, but if it's not supported with 4.3, which has the AirVideo output support, it would be great to not worry about it.

speaking of which, it would be awesome if GS implemented airvideo to output our games display on the TV :)

    how cool would that be.

60" iOS screen. I bet that would be some pixelated gameplay. LOL

    It would still be cool.
