Endless Apples under new and noteworthy

A great gal on Twitter posted up a review of my upcoming game, Mystical Woods of Darkness, and apparently, blogged in her preview that my game Endless Apples was in the new and noteworthy section.

Don't know how it happened, and I had to blink a few times before I believed it, but I guess it's true!

Funny thing is, Apple never contacted me about this, so this came as a surprise!

So that makes 2 people on Gamesalad that have had games featured under new and noteworthy! Keep the games coming!

    Congrats! That should do wonders to your downloads, no ad campaign needed. :) and should most definitely be mentioned if you ever do run a campaign.

    yea, congrats. I think most people are not contacted unless they are missing some marketing materials like i was.

    Congratulations with your achievement! I bet it will do wonders for GameSalad too.

    Mulcahy, I always thought that marketing material was optional when submitting an app? Or does it become a requirement if you are fortunate enough to make it to new and noteworthy?

    yes, it's a requirement. All you need is the website fields filled in.

    It took reading a twitterer's blog to see
    I was on the new and noteworthy list
    although I can't see it on the page, someone else told me they could
    see it, has anyone on the forums seen it at all?
    Do they rotate different apps over the course of the day?

    click on the games section and you should see it, it's not on the front page.

    did you have a link at all under the support / application website section? I had left one of them blank.

    Under support I put the gamesalad address
    for my profile for now, I'm in the process of
    building a website as we speak
    I couldn't find it but when I get home I'll look again, I looked
    under new and noteworthy and clicked on more or games, and didn't see
    it but figured they rotate them through an apple never contacted me either?!

    Can anyone else see it? I've looked under new and noteworthy and under all games in that category and can't see it, but someone from Twitter saw it on their front page, and even sent me a pic to prove it!

    I still see it. click on appstore and select games from the dropdown.

    Ah I see it, thanks Jonathan, how long does it stay in that category?

    I was clicking on Apps, and looking at the front page of that under new and noteworthy which shows different apps than that section :)

    mine stayed in there for about a week. It was on the front page for only 1/2 a day or so.

    Any volume comparisons from you two lucky dogs (i.e. percentage before, during, and after being featured)? TIA

    Sales of that game were decent, but not outstanding for me, they went up to the mid 20's and stayed steady while in new and noteworthy, but as soon as it was removed, they went back down to 1-3 per day
