gamesalad plugin viewer thing

When i go to a GameSalad game online, it says i need the safari plugin and gives me the link to download it. I download it, but then when i go back to the game, it still says i need the plugin. What do i need to do?

    Make sure you are USING safari.

    Are you trying to download or play?

    trying to play. after it said it downloaded it i searched my mac for 'gamesalad plugin' i found a file called 'gamesalad.webplugin' i double clicked it and it asked me to choose an application to open the document 'gamesalad.webplugin'. what document do i pick?

    that's not how it works. when you download the plugin it should appear in your downloads folder, open the file (DMG i think) and run the installer.

    then restart safari and it should work
