Please help with actors

Hi i cant figure out when you put the pic in for the actor it has a white background

    You need to remove the background in Photoshop,gimp or whatever you use. It needs to be a transparent .png

    ya i did that and got a transparrent background and when i put it on the actor it just showed a checkered background

    Are you putting your image on the actor that is in a scene already? You need to put the image on the actor in the top left actor area then drag it in to scene.
