8-bit Sound Effects

Ugh! Searching the forums has led me nowhere...

I remember that there was a thread where a tool was mentioned for creating good ol' 8-bit sound effects but I can't seem to track it down.

Does anything remember the name of that piece of software or knows of a good place to get those style of effects?

Many thanks in advance!

Gets all those c64 sounds and more, it's great fun!

Not too expensive and can be used as a plugin in whatever sound editor you use.

Also look into GarageBand, there's bitcrusher. You can apply it to a midi track or play with other sounds.
