if you have the viewer installed that will work

otherwise you need to pubish an adhoc build

The Gamesalad team is busy enough, they don't need to spend time sending your dad eMail. If you are a paid Apple developer ($99) you are able to log onto their website, download provisions necessary to test your app out on your device. There are good tutorials if you are unsure. At no point does the eMail address come into play. Installing the provisions and certificates is a pain. I offered my first born son to the person who could help me get mine right. Gosh I miss him. But if you follow the tutorials from start to finish you can test your apps as much as you want on your device.

The game viewer is an app that you install on your device. It permits to you to transfer the app from gamesalad to your ipod/iphone through wifi. Its a fast way to get it on a device and test it. Your app does not need sent to the gamesalad server. It goes right from your computer to the device. However, it does not replace actually creating an app to test. Creating a real test app requires you to upload it to the gamesalad server. What you get back from the gamesalad server is exactly what your customers at apple will get when they download your app. This is the only true way to test your app.

    Happy app making!

I sent my app to the GS server and got the app back. I synced it to my iPad, but it appears as the viewer and not the app. When I view it in iTunes, the app appears with the app logo, but in its place on the iPad is the GS viewer. Any ideas?
