Text not showing on device

I have a couple of screens that text does not show on. It does show when playing on GS and on the iPhone simulator, but not when I load the app the test on the iPod. The text area is all one solid color. Any ideas?

    I would check these two items. 1) Alpha channel. 2) It's a .png. I have had these issues before and it was one of the two issues.

    but is it text written within gs or a font saved as an image?

    It is text written in GS. It is multiple lines of text if that makes a difference. Once again it displays fine when playing on the Mac or the GS Viewer. It does not show on the iPod. Thanks for any help I get.

    I do remember reading about problems with multi-lines of text. If you edit it down to just one line does it show up?

    FYI - Yes a single line show up and multiple lines do not. So I made it an image and went on.
