My system is all running off my 13" nearly 4 year old MB.... not pro...

Still spend alot of the time with the laptop on my lap in the lounge...but its nice to have a desk to go to to get some real concentration on what ever the project is...

(Oh and cheers for the image embedding info....obviously not had to post an image since I launched TOTB3.... have changed it to a link for now...)

It's a studio fully sound proof and has zero reflections for audio work and my pride and joy a Hafler trans nova studio amp designed by Hafler himself and since he passed on they don't make them anymore, so for a studio mix engineer it's like owning a classic guitar and of course a pair of Tannoy close range monitors. A true hacker space is flung with wires as actual work gets done there just like Stormies work space. uhhh unlike some people's, I won't mention any name @leonarddeveloper.

yeah and that's just one part of my space..lol My best friend of 20+ years here is his production studio worth about $250,000. This is where we do all our Narration for our apps. 32 tracks of digital in and out.

No one should be embarrassed it took me many years to build up my studio and I've been at sound, video, film, computers for almost thirty years.

    You mean for making games?

    It's everywhere for me.
Right now i'm sitting on my bed at 5:51am. Probably should use it to actually sleep though.

May I jump in for FMG?

@fryingbacon I was but now I just pay direct debits and live a life of practicality, keeping clothes in a Snap-On roller cabinet, and do the clothes and dish washing with a power jet in the back garden.

I have a study but in my bedroom I have my beastly stuff like my 16gb ram Mac Pro, 60inch samsung tv (connected to MBP but mostly used for apple tv)

@ericdg123 - Wow, how do you not go blind with that TV in your face, haha.
  • ultimaultima Member, PRO Posts: 1,207
i've always wondered how people work with that kind of screen lol.. the biggest i've gone was 30" apple cinema that was offered a few years back, and my neck was hurting from just following the cursor.. not to mention huge strain with eyes staring at it all day, i've since then gone with the faster computer small screen direction. it seems more sensible especially with new OSX you don't need as big of a screen real estate as before with all the full screen software available. speak of which GS should have a full screen mode.
