so what size should my graphics be?

I am making an app for the ipods and iphones. I was wondering what size the graphics should be? I want to make it high-res for the retina display, but fit nicely on the older devices. :)

    @idoistuff... it's not that people don't want to help... but it gets very boring and time consuming answering the same question day after day... (and sometimes many times during a day)... so search first in Forum and Wiki and the youTube videos... and if it is still not clear ... post the problem you are having.

    You will get better results sometimes that this sites search
