Yet another Mac App Store Rejection

I'm just love submitting apps to the MAC app store, never knowing what issue will come up next!
This is the latest I've received... I've already had a few Mac App store apps approved, so this is NEW to me! Anyone else had this issue? Not sure if it's a GS issue, or on my end, but I checked over it, and the dimensions are correct in the game in every scene, I went over it with a fine toothed comb....

6.1

The user interface is not consistent with the Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

We have found that the window cuts off on a MacBook Air 11" when in windowed mode.

Please evaluate whether you can improve the user experience and resubmit your app for review

Wow, that stinks. It's probably a gs problem. Does anyone have a 11 inch Mac? If so do you have the same problem?

Well, I got my game approved without problems and it's 1280x800 so the height is bigger than the 11 inch max.

I think it is pretty obvious that both the MAS and the App Store both run a lottery for submissions. Some Apps are thoroughly tested and some get through with little more than a quick look. There is no way that every app is fully tested or even looked at in that much detail, loads get past with very obvious errors in HIGs etc. It is up to you to work out the odds and wether you can afford the possible refusal. They may well be looking out for GS MAS apps now tho?

Yeah it's ridiculous, I had 3 other apps accepted without any issues, but this one is giving me grief. I think it is a lottery system overall, whether it's Mac App store submissions or iOS ones.

I remember when iPad publishing first launched they were nit-picky and now it's not that way, so we shall see how long this will last with Mac app store submissions.

Sounds like for now, a fix will have to come from GS's end, and they'll have to support resizing the game when used by a Macbook Air?

shouldn't a 720p resolution be resizable to pretty much any screen size. or are we still limited because we cant do vector art?

did you set the game to start in fullscreen mode? that's what I did with one of my apps that got cut off on the 11" mac, and it made it through last night.

No I think I set the game to start in the other mode.. should I set it to start in Full screen mode?

Yea, if it starts fullscreen the app auto resizes it to fit. If you switch to full screen it then resides to native resolution. That's what I did with my 768x1024 res game.
