30 days left to upload binary... (any way of making this last a little longer?)

Afternoon everybody from Sunny England.

I've got a name I reserved with Apple for an app a few months ago, and I got the '30 days left to upload your binary' reminder. ( a couple of weeks ago)

Its never been a problem before, either the game name is no longer wanted or I've got the the game out in time.

I just wondered if there is a way to make it wait a while longer.
e.g. by filling out the info, uploading a binary, getting it approved/denied but dont let it go live on the app store. Finish the game (add some more little bits here and there) resubmit a new binary when ready and then launch on the app store.

Is the above idea do able?

Will it affect the game going into 'New releases' when it is launched, as it will be its second binary?

If not, then I guess I'll just release my game a wee bit early...and make it perfect in an update... (not ideal but that'll do)

Yes you can do as you said but that will screw your release date.

Another method is to upload a binary and after it is "Waiting for Review" reject it. The "Rejected by Developer" status should last longer, but I never tried it.

    Thanks for the replies.

If I can't get my game as done as I'd like in the time, I'll try the rejected by user idea...
