Are some days better than others?

I wonder what if releasing in a specific day of the week is better than another? holidays aside, does weekend truly bring more sales for new releases?

    Apple Chooses New and Noteworthy games from what appears to be a thursday to Wednesday period for the following thursday update. So my vote goes to thursday.
