Why is Game Salad converting jpgs to pngs ?

Why is the new version (0.7.0) of Game Salad converting my jpgs to pngs?

The images I'm using imported as jpgs in earlier versions of Gamesalad.

    .7 introduced new conversion tools, it converts audio to the proper format, same thing with image files. PNG's on the iPhone use less memory than JPGs, it's optimized for them.
