    Mode should be set to RGB Color.

    Why does GameSalad care what resolution it's at? DPI has nothing to do with making game graphics... and the iPhone 4, iPhone 3Gs, and iPad, let alone the monitor anyone might be using on their Mac have widely variable PPI, and not one of them has 72 dpi.

    I don't understand why 72 DPI is recommended so often here. Does the Creator really care what DPI you have set?

    Is this just mass confusion as to what DPI & PPI and resolution are?

    Dpi has nothing to do with the image.AS it is for physical output only.For printing purposes.You are already taking the resolution for the document.
    Rgb color mode.

    I saw that apple recommends 72 dpi in their human interface design docs, but I can't find it now

    @jonmulcahy

    I wonder why they would do that. I know it's like the defacto screen resolution since CRT days... but it really means nothing on-screen.
