How Can I Upgrade My iMac (Mid 2007)?

I want to add more memory to my iMac, and add a 2 GB module, but how do I go about doing that? Has anyone ever upgraded their Mac before?

Edit: also, where is a good place to buy memory?

    Crucial has an 8th memory kit for like $90, crucial.com

    Upgrading is a piece of cake, 1 screw on the bottom. Check ifixit.com

    I'm sure with that much RAM, yeah. You should get an SSD. It's like getting a new computer.

    What exactly is a Solid State Drive? I never actually knew what they were. I always thought they were glorified external hard drives

    I think they are more like Flash drives. I've always wondered my self too. sucks they cost so much more.
