Hey All,

I made a demo a little while ago showing how to use the magnitude function in the expression editor. It was made to help another member with a specific problem, and as such, was a little too abstract to be of use to others.

I updated the demo, and I believe this illustrates the power of the magnitude function much more clearly:

Feel free to use it for whatever you want!

Best,

Big thank you from me. I think I understand the concept of Magnitude after your explanations, but more visual/hands on stuff is good.

    Thanks nice demo.
Magnitude sure is better than have invisible actors to trigger actions.

Just a question: the rule you put on the balls when they collide with the walls is to ensure an exact angle bounce?

yes. and i took that from codemonkey's spheretrap demo...

Whoa! I never knew that. How could I have missed it. Then I can recycle all those games I dropped because I couldn't make the balls to bounce perfectly.
