Multi touch help

Is there any way to make multi touch work? I've tried everything but nothing works. For example, if I have a left and right button telling the actor to go left/right, is there anyway to push a jump button while the left/right trigger are being pushed?

    download the Joystick demo and look at the multi-touch rules. There is a lot to it. but it is all in that demo.
