Ball Vertical and Horizontal Problem ???

Hi Everyone

I know thios has been a problem for alot of people and I really have spent ages looking around the forums and searching for a fix.

I am NEW to Gamesalad and created a bricks style game following the online video tutorial ( Making a Gamesalad game from scratch BREAKOUT STYLE )

When playing the ball sometimes just keeps going up and down in one place or even horizontally left and right.

I am SURE some of you have a fix for this...would appreciate any help as its driving me bonkers .. LOL

Also I see onoin eyou can purchase The Unoffcial Gamesalad Guide Book ... Has anyone bought this and is it a recommended read. Although I find the tutorial videos very helpful a general guide style book would be of great help.

Just make the ball so that it has a fixed rotation and if you want to make it seem as if it is moving, you make a animation for when the player makes the ball turn left or right.

Thanks for replies guys, I already have the Ball in fixed rotation and its frequently getting stuck.

I did look at and try the brick breaker template rules and it did not seem to make any difference, maybe I'll look into it and try that solution again.

If anyone else has any thoughts would appreciate anything that could help.
