Keeping the status bar in a GS game

This may be a weird request, but is there a way you can optionally still leave the status bar on top of the iPhone/iPod touch display? Sometimes I like to keep track of the time and battery power.

    Right now, no, that'd have to be done in Xcode, but I would be nice to have the option.
