Ipad vs Ipod performance

I have been working on my game on the Ipad, and I am about to get an Ipod to test it on. My question how more powerful is the Ipad from the Ipod or are they comparable in power?

    An iPad (original) will be more powerful than anything from a 3GS phone/3rd gen ipod and below.

    It's about the same power wise as an iPhone 4.

    And an iPad 2 trumps all of those. Till iPhone 5 of course ;)
