Constraining an actor so a scene when accelerometer is controlling motion

Greetings,

I am having difficulty constraining an actor to a scene when using an accelerometer to control that actors movement.

TShirtBooth has done a phenomenal job explaining how to constrain an actor to a scene when the actor's movements are attached to a mouse but I am having difficulty constraining the actor when the movement is controlled by the angle of the device.
