Need help, am I aloud to take others icons?

Hello everybody, I just need some help. I´m new to gamesalad and im doing a game were i will take some cions from exempel, angrybird birds, doodlejump jumper and iphone icons.

My question is now "Am I aloud to publish my game with those icons?" or could i bee sued for that ?

    Ok Well common sense SHOULD prevail here.

    Question number 1 Did you create the icon? if Yes then you can use it.
    If No… Question number 2 Did the creators of the icon Give you written permission to use their work? If yes then you can use it. If NO... Well I think you get the idea...

    OK thx, but if i find a big picture and cut out small parts of it does that count?

    And what could hapend if i take these icons with out the permission?

    In no way can you use any part of anyone else's icon without their permission. The whole thing, or just a cropped piece, it doesn't matter.

    If you take them without permission, you can get sued. You'll get a cease and desist letter first proably, but either way, it's bad for you.
