Making an actor follow another tutorial issue

I followed this page http://gamesalad.com/wiki/how_tos:gsc_follow_another_actor?rev=1264861819 to make my bad guy follow the main character but for some reason it does NOT work ? What could i be doing wrong. i am following everything to the letter but it just doesnt work ??

    I've used this tutorial and it works. If you're still having trouble, make sure those rules are in the object instances in your scene and not just the prototypes. Also, there's two methods for chasing, so if you're having trouble with one give the second one a shot. I think I ended up going with the second method in my game.
