Change the short name of an app

Does anyone know how/at what point in the submission process you can add an alternate, shorter name for your app to display on the iPhone desktop, e.g. "The Magical Mystery of Mystery Mansion" becomes "MysMansion" or what have you? I've tried searching for this, but I'm not even sure what you call the short name.
