yes it can. Jonmulcahy is right though ALWAYS check with the manufacturer, i just happen to know for a fact you can though so ill save you some time. I called adobe support when i was in my campus bookstore purchasing to make sure. Heres also there link that states it, its towards the bottom
Like i said it was the first thing i made sure when i purchased. There was no point in me getting the student discount if i couldnt use in my commercial work
