Some encouragement...

There's been an interesting debate around here. Is it gambling to be an iOS developer? I don't think so. I think that practice leads to knowledge... which ultimately leads to better apps. While success is not guaranteed, it seems that if I keep trying, and keep making better games, I should eventually find success.

That's just my opinion though. Maybe you need more encouragement than that? So... maybe you'll find the following blog post to be encouraging...

...it certainly was encouraging to me, as I saw one particular piece of information that stood out. It's on the "Median Per-Game Revenue by Number of Games Released" chart. There's a clear trend. It seems that the more apps you make, the more money those apps will make on average.

That's encouraging news for a game developer like me. The chart seems to say... "Keep trying! Keep practicing! Keep making better apps!"

Will Arch Fiery do better than BOT? Statistically, it seems that it should.

I'm think Arch Fiery will do better than BOT not because this survey, just because looks like it would be better game. BOT had a great potential, but bad gamedesign and bad controls kill it. It seems not the case with Arch Fiery. Thx for the link.
