How to make actor disappear and stop all functions that are assigned to it?

I have a timer that every 3 seconds will make the "laser" invisible and then re-visible using the alpha option. How could I make so that when the laser is invisible it won't act as a actor. Just like acting its not there.

    Add the condition When self.color.alpha = 1 to all of your rules.
