Do I need a different APP ID for Developing & App store?

If i'm developing an app and have a App ID & Developer Provision Cert.

I know when I want to sell this in the App Store I need to create a Distribution Cert but do I also need to create a new APP ID for this app or can I use the same one that I used for developing?

    Nope. Same app id, different provisioning profile

    yeah got that thank you Mulcahy, but any I right in thinking that when I make the final app for the app store although I could drag it into itunes I couldn't put it on my iphone like I could the developers app - this that normal?
