0.9.82 update not working!

I have Gamesalad 0.9.71. I want to the new 0.9.82. When I click the update button, it stars updating, then says that there was an updtae error.
It said: “An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later.”
Because I can’t update, I can’t publish my game.
I am running Mac OS X 10.7.2 (Lion)
What can I do?

    try deleting gamesalad off your computer and just downloading the new version from the home page instead of the update button.

    i didn't delete it, but i redownloaded it, and it says that it can't be recognized
