How do i make a timer?

Hi, i am working on a game with time based levels and i need help to make a minutes and seconds timer. All the ones i have checked in the new section of gamesalad are only seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well youll set your timer up in seconds. If you want the level to have a 3 minute timer you would have your attribute called levelTime and set it to 180. Then when the game is going every 1 second change levelTime to levelTime-1

when levelTime=0, game over

then to display it in minutes and seconds like a digitl clock you would use an expression in your display text or whatever. Im not home right now and dont know the expression off the top of my head, im pretty sure tshirt has a video on that though. Ill be sure to post it for you when im home if no one else has first

thanks for the help. i already have it set up in seconds but i dont have it showing like a digital clock yet wich is what i want
