Forums Upgrade Commencing Soon!

Hey, everyone!

We'll be bringing the forums down shortly to migrate our database and update our forum software. When we come back up, you should be greeted by our beautiful new forums. We'll try to keep the outage to a minimum, but it could take between 2 and 4 hours to complete the transition.

    nice. hope it's glitch less. about a new logo next =). and a new publish sound for a change =D. which i know will never be done haha. but thanx anyway.

    Hey, everyone!

    As you can see, no new forums. We had some issues last night getting the new forums to jive with our login/account system and had to revert back to the old forums until we can get the issue sorted out.

    Once that gets fixed, I'll give everyone a quick "heads up" before we proceed with the upgrade.

    Hope it's got some good WYSIWYG editors and media capability. A live realtime forum window would be awesome for quick answers.

    So ... um ... whens the forum upgrade coming? I thought it was yesterday as i couldn't get in the forums as i didn't have permission ... eventually allowed back in and still the old ones :(

    Yeh last week has been a right beatch! It also doesn't seem to remember my signin info anymore, have to keep typing each time of coming back if Safari has been properly exited .... Come on new forum fairies!

    Safari never remembers my login. More likely my set up rather than the GS site though - that'll teach me not to tinker with things!

    Nah, it's on GS's end, not yours. That'll be fixed with the new forum though.

    They had issues switching over, as soon as they procide with the switch theyll let us know as yoda said above. No communication would be them not saying anything after they had problems. But they nicely let everyone know exactly whats going on. Im sure we all want the new forum to be perfect, so lets not rush anything. I can tell you its worth the wait though
