Buttons are sticking

I have buttons that control the movement of some objects but they are randomly staying pressed even though i am not pressing the buttons, i put otherwise commands and released commands and they still stick. I noticed it happens some of the time when i finger slides over the button instead of pressing it. How can i prevent this form happening because it makes my game much more difficult
