I've had two apps reviewed and approved in one day: twice. You?

Yo!

So, for the last couple years, whenever I submitted a new app or an update, I'd have to wait the customary week-two weeks for the In Review status. All very typical, like clockwork. However, my last two submissions (one a new app, and the other an update) have only taken one full 24 hour period. The most recent one I submitted on Saturday (so not counting weekend) and it was ready for sale tonight.

My only thought is maybe this happens because I'm a registered business with Apple. How about you bigger guys? Do you get routinely fast turnarounds?

my guess would be since itunes connect closes for the holidays there trying to bang them out quick till then. Just a guess though. Registering as a business doesnt really have anything to do with it.

I dont remember what the review times were like this time last year, but review times vary threw out the year and the average changes. but anyway thats great for you :)

    I dunno, maybe
However i submitted my new app; to the app store last sunday (i know they only work weekdays) and haven't got anything back, so id say, the regular time period still applies, although you may have just been lucky i suppose :),

Most apps are currently being approved in three to five days. Apple has an area on the developer website that tells you how long it's currently taking them to approve apps and updates.
