Ok, so in my game.
I have a bit of maths that achieves the answer I want but it is overly complicated (1 too many steps). To get this number I need to add two sums, when really it should just be one sum.

(attribute.x / 2) + (attribute.x/4) = the number I want.

So its 'one half' + 'one quatre' = 'three quatres'

what sum should I be doing that makes the above work in one sum...

attrbute.x / ? = the number I want...

I'm sure its really obvious, but my mind is just staring back at a blank wall... cheers..

So you want attribute.x/? to equal three quarters?

    I'm not really following...

    (3 * attribute.x) / 4 = The number.

I want to find out what three quatres of attribute.x are.... in one sum rather than two sums added together..

what number do I need to divide by to find the answer...?

it works as it is with two sums, but it seems a bit a messy...

Hi Jon, here's another (which is different from the other guys' solutions, so could be wrong!):

So you want the equation 1/x = 3/4 and you want to know what x is:

    1/x = 3/4 can be treated as x/1 = 4/3

    x= 1.3333 recurring

    Solution (I think!):

    1/1.3333 = 3/4

I'll wait for the no, no, no's!

    :-)
