How to use the iPhone tilt function?

how can I move actors left and right when I tilt my iPhone?

    It works but how to set up when I tilt left my actor goes left, and when I tilt right, it needs time till the actor stops and moves right. Is there a way to say when tilt is right stop the actor immediately from going left...??

    Like when I tilt it from left to right that the actor stops
    immediately!

    So you want it to slow to a stop and tilt the other way?

    Tilt left the actor accelerates left, and when I tilt then back to right, I want the actor to stop immediately and go right!
